As atrocities against unborn children become more and more exposed, volunteers and leaders are emerging from the Latino community who are willing to dedicate their lives to ending abortion. The Vida Initiative educates and encourages those pro-life leaders, and supports Latinos’ natural inclination to defend life.
The Latino community is the “sleeping giant” of the pro-life movement. According to a 2013 Pew Research National Survey of Latinos, the majority of Latinos surveyed would like abortion to be criminalized or significantly restricted. Abortion is antithetical to Latinos' values, which include, above all, a love for family, and a zeal for life.
